Today marks the seventh coming of Record Store Day – a nationwide celebration of independent record stores. Here’s our guide to the best live shows and giveaways happening this weekend

1 | Eastern Bloc Records

Situated in Manchester’s stylish Nothern Quarter, this record-store-come-café will be hosting a full day of events to celebrate Record Store Day. With a host of DJs, cakes, coffee and a (weather permiting) barbeque, it’s the perfect way to make a start to your music-fuelled weekend.
